Multi-time series champion Billy Musgrave resumed his position at the top of the Pro Shifter point standings, thanks to his third win on the season at Santa Maria. Musgrave leads Vincente Salas by 68 points, with Jacob Yesnick a close third. KA100 Senior has Round Two winner Dante Yu still leading the championship chase thanks to three podiums in four rounds. Round One winner Blake Nash sits second, behind by just 50 points – with former series champion Oliver Calvo there in third. Terry Giffen holds the point lead in the X30 Master division, coming off his first victory of the season at Round Four. Giffen has a 71-point advantage over Robert Switzler, with Round One victor Jeff Rice just six points in back of him. KC Cook has a solid lead in the KA100 Master standings thanks to his two wins in the first four rounds. Ronnie Swaim is the next driver, trailing by 271 points. Three straight wins has Jesus Vasquez Jr. as the driver to beat in the KA100 Junior title chase. Vasquez holds a lead of 235 points ahead of G3 Argyros. Also with three straight wins going into Round Five is Tristan Murphy in the Micro Swift class. Murphy has stood on the podium in all four rounds and holds a 115-point lead over Ashton Woon, with Matthew Cagle in third. Four straight podium finishes, including two wins to open up the year, has William Rasmussen at the top of the standings in Mini Swift. Charlie Smith has been able to match in the win total, and trails by only 64 points heading into Willow Springs. Keagan Kaminski is third, riding on three straight podium results in the last three rounds. Pre-Registration remains open for the California ProKart Challenge event at Willow Springs until the deadline for online registration of Tuesday, September 7 at 11:59pm PDT. A 2021 SKUSA membership is mandatory to register and compete. Move-in begins on Friday, September 10 from 9am-6pm with no one allowed on-track. Saturday, September 11 will host official practice with qualifying at the end of the day. Sunday, September 12 hosts the Prefinal and Final events. Complete race and venue information, along with a tentative weekend schedule, can be found at the PKC Event Page. No reservations are needed for the FREE pit spots and camping as they will be on a first come, first served basis. Spectators are not required to purchase a SKUSA pit pass; only mechanics and crew members who need access to the grid and scale area. Everyone who enters the facility must pay the $15 gate fee upon arrival to the track.
