2023 Pit Spots Reservations, Pit Rules & Tent Rentals for SuperNats 26

Attention SuperNationals XXVI Teams and Drivers

As we get closer to the biggest kart race of the year, we would like to bring to your attention a few key dates and information which we hope will ease the stress of securing your pit space for the November event.
  • By 9/23/23, SKUSA will post this year’s pit map, the directions, and the additional venue information online as to how to correctly reserve a pit space for SuperNationals XXVI. NOTE: This year, there is camping overnight in RV’s allowed. (See our webpage and online store HERE to purchase RV camping at the speedway in the infield and take a moment to read the instructions we all must adhere to. Per the speedway, there will be zero tolerance to any infraction to the camping/golf cart rules ).
  • By 9/23, SKUSA will begin to accept correctly completed pit requests.
    • The time stamp of you sending your pit request designates the order in which your pit space will be assigned. (All sponsors shall have assignment priority).
    • Questions on how to become a sponsor (or on-site vendor)? Send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
    • Incorrect pit requests will be returned for correction, and your new time stamp will be assigned when the correct pit request is received.
  • 10/17 will be the FINAL day to commit to an event sponsorship and submit a pit request if the sponsorship is to include a preferred pit space.
  • 10/1 will be the FINAL day for pre-orders for tents. After this date, tents and/or changes to tent orders will be charged at premium pricing (if available) and completed on a first come-first served basis – after ALL pre-ordered tents are confirmed.
  • 10/20 will be the FINAL day to send correctly completed pit requests.
    • All pit requests received after this date shall be considered a “WALK UP” pit request, and may not be handled until you arrive.

2023 SuperNats 26 - Las Vegas Motorspeedway Facility Overview

PIT SPOT RESERVATIONS

As always, we are working like crazy here at SKUSA headquarters to prepare for the biggest kart race in the world!

We are excited to once again be back at the Las Vegas Motorspeedway – with our event located just outside the main entrance of the speedway track. And with more than 550 racers expected, our goal is to fit everyone in as efficiently as possible, while giving the drivers and teams maximum exposure and minimum exertion.

PLEASE read ALL of the directions below carefully and submit your pit spot request in writing only AS ONE COMPLETE PIT REQUEST! For all pit requests please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . We will attempt to acknowledge receipt of your pit request (and answer questions) within 24-72 hours. If you have not received a reply within 72 hours, please send a follow up email to pit spots and/or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . If you have any questions about your pit spot, please call Stan at (219)841-1367. PLEASE SPEND SOME QUALITY TIME ON YOUR PIT MAP DESIGN – THIS IS CRITICAL TO GETTING WHAT YOU NEED!

Fuel In The Pits? ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Our usual TIGHT restrictions from the Clark County Fire Department means ABSOLUTELY NO FUEL IS ALLOWED TO BE BROUGHT INTO THE PITS by competitors! ALL Trailers will be inspected and turned away (or parked off-site) if fuel is found on board. The only exception is 10 or less gallons of generator fuel per trailer (and a minimal amount in kart fuel tanks). All fuel/oil needed for this event can be purchased with your entry online and will also be sold on site every day and stored in the fuel farm. Pre-orders are encouraged; however, additional fuel / oil can be purchased at the event as needed.

Additionally, SKUSA requires Fire Extinguishers as described below:

Every entrant’s pit area shall have a minimum of one 5-lb type ABC rated fire extinguisher (Type 2A 10BC) – with current inspection label – for every 400 square feet of pit area. Fire extinguishers must always be visible and accessible. Competitors with trailers over 20-ft long shall have a minimum of one 20-lb type ABC fire extinguisher – with current inspection label – for the trailer in addition to one 5-lb unit for each 400 square feet of pit area. All competitors within a pit area that are found to be non-compliant at an event will be removed from competition until in compliance.

A Pit Spot Drawing is Mandatory – 280 Square-Foot-Rule Applies!

For every driver and/or team needing a pit spot, if you know EXACTLY how much space you will need for your pit spot, AND IF ALL DRIVERS IN YOUR PIT SPOT ARE ALREADY REGISTERED for the race, you are ready to submit your pit request.

Due to the uniqueness of this venue’s paddock and the amount of teams attending, we will be reviewing pit requests very carefully to assure each space requested is used as efficiently as possible. An efficient pit utilizes no more than 280 square feet per competitor. With the exception of a single entry in a single pit space, there MUST be an entered driver listed on the map or attached sheet per 280 square feet or the request will be returned back to you as “incomplete”.

Please scan and email a complete drawing to the SKUSA office. What your drawing must include is described below, AND WILL BE REJECTED IF IT IS INCOMPLETE. Please DO NOT send a note that just says, “I want what I had last year.” All pit layout details, including a complete driver list, AND ANY SPECIAL REQUESTS must be submitted IN WRITING for approval. The general area pits are all rows of spots 10’W x 40’D. Your drawing MUST reflect multiples of these areas AS WELL AS SPECIFY YOUR TOP 3 PREFERRED LOCATIONS by row and space number, per the attached pit map.

Pricing for pit spots will be AS FOLLOWS:
  •  BLUE numbered spaces are $1.00/SF  (Priority goes to Loyal Patrons, Sponsors and the largest teams; in that order)
  •  GREEN numbered spaces are $.75/SF
  •  BROWN numbered spaces are $.50/SF
  •  BLACK numbered spaces are $.35/SF
  • See below for information on Vendor Booth availability and pricing

Pit Request Submittals

Here are the items to include on your PIT REQUEST drawing:

Note: All items below must be addressed and completed in order for SKUSA to consider your pit request as valid.
  • Official Team Name – preferably in the SUBJECT line of your email with the words SNATS PIT REQUEST
  • A black and white PDF file (NO phone pictures, please). The drawing needs to be sent as a file attachment to an email.
  • Fully drawn layout – with dimensions in feet – of your total pit area. PLEASE BE EXACT, AND DO NOT REQUEST MORE SPACE THAN YOU TRULY NEED. REMEMBER THE 280 SQUARE FOOT RULE! You will most likely not be able to add space when you arrive. Please add a directional arrow for where the track will be in relation to your pit. Additionally (per the Fire Marshall), please indicate the exits to your pit area.
  • Include where tents will go, trailers (only if they need to be within your pit), E-Z ups, VIP area, etc, in relation to the track. PLEASE ADVISE IF WE CAN PARK YOUR TRAILER IN AN AREA SEPARATE FROM YOUR PIT.
  • Include space for trailer doors, especially if you will need to be able to open and close them during the event or leave them open to retrieve parts. Generator exhaust pipes and trailer tip outs must also be within your space.
  • Include a list of the drivers that will be pitting in your pit spot. NOTE: They all must be registered before we can confirm your pit spot. (It is a good idea to tell each of them to list your team name as the one on their entry.)
  • Include the pit requester’s name and the best daytime contact info (cell phone and email). Time zone is also helpful, unless you have a full billing/mailing address included on the request.
  • If the person who is responsible for parking the trailer is different from the requester, please provide us with that person’s name and cell number as the point of contact on site.
  • Tell us whether you’ll be renting a tent, bringing your own, or both. Show tent opening(s) on your drawing, especially in relation to trailers (and the track).
  • When creating your drawing, assume your pit spot may be surrounded on three sides by others, and that access to your pit may only be from one side.
  • There is absolutely NO overnight camping in the pits, so please do NOT plan for an RV as part of your pit space. ALL RVs are to be parked in the campground. Toy haulers will be allowed in as pit vehicles only with strict pre-approval -- but staying in them overnight is not allowed. Violators will be removed from the premises. Likewise, passenger vehicles will not be allowed in and out of the pits during the event, so there is no need to accommodate space for them inside of your pit spot. Ample handicapped and general parking is located just outside the main entrance.

Sponsor/Vendor Spots Are Available

Per the pit map posted at the link above, SKUSA has up to fifteen (15) 10’ x 15’ spots right on the main foot traffic aisle of Supernats 26 – as well as custom spaces available – for approved vendors and/or sponsors to display or sell products and/or services. Any interested parties that have not already been in contact with the SKUSA head office, please send an email immediately to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with info on your company, your display needs, and to request a brochure with pricing/availability on either pre-tented or un-tented spaces. If you have not received a response to your emailed request within 48 hours, please call and leave a message at 951-491-0808.

Rental Tents and Equipment – Exclusive Tent Vendor: Source 1 Events

The EXCLUSIVE rental tent vendor is Source 1 Events (formerly Nevada Tent & Events). NO OTHER TENT VENDORS WILL BE ALLOWED ON SITE. Their contact info, as well as some new 2023 requirements, are posted below. They also have additional rental items – like tables, chairs, linens, and rental equipment. Contact them ASAP to order what you will need, based on your requested pit space. We will work with them to finalize the size and location of your rental tent and equipment. Remember, a 20x20’ tent will not fit in a 20x20’ space. The tent needs room for stakes to hold it down. Keep this in mind when determining your pit and tent size.

Source 1 Events will be installing tents on a first ordered-first installed basis. All tents are priced at $2.00 per square foot, plus a $100 delivery fee, and must be ordered by 10/1. Due to other events occurring in Las Vegas the week before, during and after the SuperNats, there will be no option to change or place a new order for any tents after 10/1/23.

As some of you have already heard, there are some new rules and requirements for SELF-OWNED tents and tent permits. Click HERE for these new rules, and HERE for a sample flame-retardant certificate. This process is your responsibility. Failure to comply may result in the Clark County Fire Marshall suspending all activity within your designated pit space until compliance has been met. Any staking of self-owned tents MUST be done by Source One Events. Contact them to get on the list.

Other Rental Equipment

Due to insurance reasons, any teams choosing to rent other electrical items for their pit spot, like a generator, must notify Superkarts! No trailer(s) will be placed UNLESS the team manager or the person who ordered the space is present. Teams with multiple trailers must have the team manager present to proceed. Hired drivers must have a copy of the paid pit receipt, drawing and a direct contact number of the owner or team manager.

Tow Vehicles

Upon placement and disconnect of the trailer, tow vehicles are to be parked in the designated parking areas as designated on the premises map. All tow vehicles will be marked upon entering the paddock with the corresponding pit space number. Any vehicle that does not have this identification or is found to have altered this identification will be towed without notice – and will not be allowed back into the pits for move-out. Note: Tow vehicles are not rental cars or vans full of people; these vehicles are expected to park in the designated visitor/guest/spectator areas provided. Vehicles that are bringing in equipment will be marked and expected to unload within a reasonable amount of time and park in the designated areas provided.

Pit Move-Out

Move out will begin Sunday night, Nov. 12th at approx. 4:30pm (at the conclusion of podium awards at scales and final clearance at Tech), and must be complete by 1pm on Monday, Nov. 13th (keep your wristband on for access to the parking lot on Monday for move-out). NOTE: Due to insurance regulations and permit stipulations enforced by Clark County, no unauthorized vehicles are allowed to move within the pit area – and all lanes must remain open and unobstructed – while the track is hot. Additionally, NO early move-out can take place, as described above. In order to secure personal belongings and safety, the pit area will be locked down until official move-out begins. Any violation of this policy will affect future participation in any and all Superkarts! USA events.

Pit Spot Confirmation/Billing

The SKUSA office personnel will be in touch to confirm each pit reservation submitted, and will send an invoice for payment to you when we have you placed on the pit map. Any pit request canceled on or after 10/20/23 will be charged a cancelation fee of $50.00.

See you all in Vegas!
