ProKart Challenge Launches New Website
Sunday, 16 March 2008 22:44
Since the beginning of the year, the staff here at ProKart Challenge has been busy working on an entirely new website.  We had several goals in mind, first of which was to streamline the race entry process.  You can now view all details of an event on a single page and enter the event from that same page.  Our second goal was to make site navigation more straightforward and to organize the information in a way that made more sense.  We think we've accomplished these goals.

This new website was completely rebuilt from the ground up using a true Content Management System (CMS).  It's also sporting a brand new design from Chris Ortenburger at Eyenovation Multimedia: www.eyenovation.com .  The CMS will allow us to combine all of our properties into one central management interface. What this means for you is more timely updates and postings.

Perhaps in the future we can enable features that will allow you to have your own webpages and/or blogs.  We will be launching the ProKart Challenge NorCal site shortly.  A new SuperKarts! USA corporate site will follow, and then a brand new SuperNationals site in preparation for the biggest race of the year.

We hope you like the changes and welcome any comments.

Enjoy!

DePhillippi and Hebner in Barber 'Elite 12'
Wednesday, 12 December 2007 17:00
Skip Barber Racing announced the names of the 12 karters who, based on their accomplishments, assessed potential and other attributes, have won scholarship invitations to the 11th annual Skip Barber Karting Shoot-out, January 31–February 1-3, 2008, at Sebring International Raceway. By virtue of being selected, each of the 12 talented drivers has been awarded a scholarship covering the cost of a Skip Barber Three Day Racing School, the completion of which is required in order to enter the Shoot-out.

Very cool that 2 ProKart regulars (Connor DePhillippi and Grant Hebner) made the top 12. Full Story on EKN.
