Reigning CIK-FIA World Formula A Karting Champion Marco Ardigo will compete at the Superkarts! USA SuperNationals XI on November 14-18 at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, NV. SKUSA announced this past week that the reconfigured circuit in the stadium’s parking lot has met the CIK-FIA homologation standards to be listed on the International Sporting Calendar, allowing drivers with the upper level licenses to participate at the event. Any S1 or TaG Senior drivers that believe they have a shot at the win should make sure they have a valid passport before coming to the SuperNats. Departure to Brazil, as a member of the US team for the Granja Viana 500, is only one week after the SuperNats on November 26th. Practice is November 27th-30th and the race is on December 1st. The return trip home will be on December 3rd. The winner must have proof of a valid passport and commit to race at the Granja at the SuperNats or the trip will go to next in line. Under 18 driver requires parent to attend (parent’s expenses are not covered by this prize). |

Since the SuperPro (ICC) class is now CIK sanctioned, all drivers in that class must have a minimum of a ‘C’ National license. A WKA license with sprint endorsement (as currently required by Stars of Karting and others) satisfies this requirement. Please bring a copy of your license to the event to complete registration. For those that do not have an appropriate license, there will be a WKA represenatative at the event to issue licenses on the spot at a cost of $60. |

Superkarts! USA has announced that the temporary circuit at UNLV’s Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas for the upcoming 11th running of the SKUSA SuperNationals has met CIK-FIA homologation standards to be listed on the CIK-FIA International Sporting Calendar. The track, which has just undergone a configuration change, was listed after a long and arduous process that focused on the organization preparing the safest temporary racing facility as possible for the drivers.
